Fits in place of the standard presser foot with its operating lever engaging the needle clamp screw. The stroke of the ruffling blade is governed by the regulating nut in the lever. Can also Ruffle and sew on by placing the band below the lower separator plate and the piece to be ruffled between the separator plate and the ruffling blade. For Shirring remove the lower separator plate before attaching to the presser bar.
