Needles For Domestic Singer Sewing Machines
The following tables identifies the correct type of needle, as well as the fitting and threading directions, for Singer domestic and toy sewing machines. The use of incorrect types of needle, or threading the needle in the wrong direction, can prevent proper stitching, or worse it can cause damage to the machine.
Note that some models (such as the 15, 24 etc.) also have variants classed as industrial models. These industrial models usually require different specialised needles to work correctly.
